来美国后，在堪萨斯州拿到你的第一张驾照。
流程是这样的
- 1你到了你搬到了堪萨斯州，想在这里开车。
- 2学车许可你拿着学习驾驶许可（learner permit）上路练车。
- 3笔试你参加笔试。
- 4路考你坐上驾驶座参加路考。
- 拿到驾照你通过考试，驾照就是你的了。
费用
第一张驾照
C 类驾照收费 $18，适用于 21 到 64 岁的申请人，另加 $3 考试费和最多 $8 的照片费。
申请时会一并收取 $3 考试费。
这笔钱在申请时缴纳。
你的社会安全号码（SSN）
提供号码，以及谁能看到它
每一位申请驾照或身份证的人都必须提供社会安全号码（SSN）。号码会保密，只在州法律允许的情况下披露。
要考的项目
视力检查
你可以不在考官那里做视力检查，改为提交持照医生或持照验光师出具的视力报告。
更新驾照时，驾照考官免费为你做视力检查。
路考
申请学习驾驶许可（instruction permit）不需要通过路考；考试的其余每一项都必须通过。
需要
笔试能考几次
笔试没通过，可以再交 $1.50 考试费重考，两次之间不用等待。
六个月内笔试或路考累计失败四次，就要从最后一次未通过的考试算起等六个月。之后再考需要提交重新考试申请，并缴 $3 费用。
