阿肯色州对外国驾照没有有效期方面的要求。持马尼托巴省（加拿大）、德国、法国、台湾和韩国驾照的人，根据互认协议不需要考试，可以通过财政与管理部（Department of Finance and Administration）获发阿肯色州驾照。

车辆必须干净、机械状况良好，车内不能有摄像头或录像设备。如果前车窗贴膜深于 25%、后车窗贴膜深于 10%、前挡风玻璃有任何贴膜，或者挡风玻璃顶部遮阳带从挡风玻璃中心量起超过 5 英寸，车辆会被拒绝使用。
